Introduction to Logic

This introductory logic text presents methods that involve the use of very few rules in a way that maximizes the chance that students will grasp, remember and apply outside the course and in their lives.  It offers the students the method of truth-trees on a step-by-step basis, and in a context of real world issues in which principles of correct reasoning are so important.
