Handbook of the Dietary Reference Intakes

This handbook is designed to be a quick-reference guide to the DRI's and nutrients. It is certainly not meant to be a comprehensive nutrition textbook, but, rather, simply include a listing of the major known functions of the nutrients as well as their more common dietary sources.

For convenience, the nutrients are listed in alphabetical order (the macronutrients, minerals, and then vitamins). Only the bare minimum of factual information is given for each nutrient - "only the facts, Jack".
