This student hands-on study manual consists of a series of 15 learning activity packets (LAPs) on fundamental concepts of chemistry. A total of 10 supplementary exercises are also included. This LAP manual is suitable for use in a variety of introductory chemistry courses.

 

The LAP format is a unique mix between traditional laboratory manual and textbook. A typical LAP unfolds a central theme through short paragraphs of explanations with interspersed hands-on activities. Students take the active part of learning by completing the LAPs in laboratory settings.
